Lymington Challenge UKOPRA 2026

Sep 18 - 20 2026
The Lymington Challenge is an offshore powerboat racing event held on the western Solent, off the south coast of England. Racing takes place in tidal waters near the entrance to the Solent, an area known for variable conditions influenced by wind, current, and vessel traffic. Multiple classes of offshore powerboats compete over the event weekend.

The event is based in Lymington, Hampshire, a coastal town on the edge of the New Forest with direct access to the Solent. Lymington has a working harbour, public quays, marinas, and shoreline areas where spectators can observe race activity. The town centre offers restaurants, shops, accommodation, and ferry connections to the Isle of Wight.
