Lake Cumberland Thunder Run
The Lake Cumberland Thunder Run, organized by the Lake Cumberland Powerboat Club and hosted at State Dock Marina, is a premier poker run event on Lake Cumberland in Kentucky. The 2025 event is scheduled for June 27-29, with activities commencing on Friday, June 27, and concluding on Sunday, June 29. This year, organizers have adjusted the dates to minimize water debris typically encountered earlier in the summer, aiming to enhance participants’ experience. The weekend includes a bonus stop raft-up on Friday, sponsored by TBA, and live entertainment by The Naked Karate Girls on both Friday and Saturday nights.
