Big Cat Poker Run 2026
The Big Cat Poker Run, presented by the Discovery Bay Lions Club, returns to the California Delta on July 31 – August 1, 2026. This charitable event invites all boaters to participate in a weekend of performance boating to help raise thousands of dollars for local organizations.
The event is headquartered at the Discovery Bay Marina, kicking off on Friday with a lunch run to Tower Park and a welcoming party at the marina. On Saturday, participants choose between two distinct routes: a shorter run for slower boats traveling to Sugar Barge Resort and Windmill Cove, or a longer run for larger, faster boats that includes a stop at Pittsburg Marina before meeting at Windmill Cove for lunch.
The weekend concludes back at the Discovery Bay Marina for the poker hand draw, dinner, and an after-party with live entertainment. Beyond the excitement on the water, the event supports critical community resources through the fundraising efforts of the Lions Club, including their special Thursday night VIP and Sponsor Appreciation dinner.
